Mustafa Maqbool Ahmed

Mustafa Maqbool Ahmed is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA, CGA).

With over 14 years of multifaceted experience in internal auditing, governance, and risk management within Pakistan’s financial services sector, Mustafa combines technical rigor with a strategic approach to corporate oversight. Prior to joining UBL Funds, he served Pakistan Mortgage Refinance Company Limited (PMRC) and the National Clearing Company of Pakistan Limited (NCCPL). In these roles, he was instrumental in strengthening internal control framework, development and implementation of risk based internal audit framework and, aligning audit processes with Global Internal Audit Standards and international best practices.

As the Group Head Internal Audit at UBL Funds, Mustafa leverages his diverse expertise and disciplined leadership to foster a culture of transparency and accountability. He is committed to providing independent assurance that strengthens organizational governance and supports sustainable growth.
